    you are correct, it was march 10, 2001. it was the linebacker cory mitchell and some thugs from elmont in a spillover from the bar called "traditions" on 164th Street just south of the Grand Central Parkway. I remember getting the IM from someone who lived in the dorms the next afternoon.

    I was pretty good friends with a campus security guy at my school. He told me there was one gun in the department. One. So if the shit hit the fan, a guard would have to go to a locker, retrieve it and go into battle.

    It hasn't been needed. Yet.

    In your scenario, the only guy getting put down would be the unarmed one trying to take on the guy with the rifle.

    Mr Unarmed would be put down all right. 6 feet down.

    In my scenario, which was reality, this guy would've gotten his ass kicked. The area around St. John's was fertile for beat downs.
