If Mustain leaves, he would really Dick Arkansas right in the Nutt.

Don't know about Mustain but the rumor mill at Arkansas is working overtime.
The word is now is that Malzahn left before he got demoted. Supposedly everyone's favorite uncle, Larry Coker, has been offered the job or David Lee is getting the hell out of Dallas and back to Fayetteville to the be the OC.

So Coker isn't going to Minnesota?

IMHO, Malzahn got the heck out of Dodge. Hogville has turned into a giant soap opera.

Doesn't look like Arkansas wants Coker either. One Arkansas columnist is already calling him a washed up has been.

So McFadden gets more touches next season. That doesn't sound like a bad thing to me.

Mustain WILL NOT go to C-USA. He's too blue a chip. The line forms to the left for all the major powers who'll want him in 2008 with three years of eligibility left.

And how much of it was his doing?

Calling the guys who wrote that "columnists" is a bit of a stretch. At the end of their rant:

J.R. and Henry are two Little Rock sports fans who blog their sports column regularly at Little Rocking.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you transfer within the conference aren't you prohibited from receiving an athletic scholarship at your new school? I know it works that way in the Big 10.

Think that's only for the first year. So while Mustain is red-shirting, he'd have to pay his own way.

Of course, schools have a way of waving out-of-state tuition and making sure such projects get "grants," so the hit is less than you'd think.

In the Big 10 you aren't eligible for athletic aid for the remainder of your eligibility. But yeah, "grants" have a way of taking care of that.

Which is why Jeff George, when he transferred from Purdue, turned down a free ride at Miami to pay his own way to play for Mike Fucking White at Illinois.
