Pretty happy with how this turned out, considering the time and access constraints of last night. We're Malcolm Butler's hometown paper, but we're also about a 7,000-circulation so obviously I wasn't in Arizona. I also wasn't able to get him on the phone. It's an afternoon paper, so I had a few extra hours to work on it, but there was still a time crush to get all of the local interviews done by midnight before everybody went to bed.
    What do y'all think?

I thought that was very well done. I'm sure, like all writing, that it can be improved, but it seems very strong. Getting a lot of people on the phone definitely helped.
