If what you say is true, this plane could get fairly deep into an airspace before being shot down because people might think hostages were on board.

The runner-up in the 1998 Women's US Open was Jenny Chuasiriporn. Lost in a Monday playoff to Se-Ri Pak. Helped Duke to the 1999 NCAA title. Then was never heard from again in women's golf.

If what he's saying is true, then the terrorists have either figured out how to keep a 777 flying for a few days without fuel or they have a secret base somewhere that has a runway large enough to land one and isn't covered by any of the world's radar installations.

Occam's razor points and laughs at his theory.

I saw something similar in a Twilight Zone episode once. Dude was supposed to land at Idylwild Airport and ended up flying over dinosaurs.

Maybe this guy was the pilot:

Space shuttle Columbia disintegrated from 200,000 feet above Earth, and still left a debris trail. The #MH370 story is very odd.

Would that be so inconceivable? A terrorist organization (and its sponsoring government) certainly has the funds and the will. It would really just be a matter of making the signal invisible, right? And anything that's based on technology in the first place can be overcome by other technology.

I don't know that it's any less likely than an airplane exploding but leaving no debris, or nosediving into the ocean without any sort of distress call or other trace.

Maybe the pilot committed suicide with a nose-first dive at cruising speed, cutting the electronic data stuff before he nosed down. One of the stories somewhere mentioned pilots have done that a few times.

But to get to that secret base or host nation, the 777 would have to fly through or near enough other nations' radar to be picked up. While they might be able to jam the transponder's signal (or turn it off), they couldn't make the entire thing invisible to radar.

How many days did it take to find the Air France wreckage in the Atlantic? They didn't send out a distress call either. I think it was at least four days (could be wrong without looking it up).

Unless we're talking about Dr. Evil or possibly The Penguin, yes, it's pretty inconceivable.

Obviously, they need to bring in Special Forces to solve this mystery.
