Making the Sports Information jump

    Almost three hours after our game ended today, there was one person left in the arena. Me. Even the cleaning crew was leaving.
    The hours are NO better and, at times, worse.

    Yeah, but it's not like SID jobs are growing on trees right now, either. There are few decent ones and the competition is pretty stiff, maybe moreso than even in newspapers.

    Seriously, anybody who would become an SID to get 8-5 hours has simply never been around a sports information department. Better job security? yes. Better hours? Not at all. And that's saying something.
