All of the hype and BS will mean I won't care by early December.

  3. Holy Fucking crap!
Have you guys seen the Steelers schedule? Honestly?
The Steelers play the toughest schedule in the NFL. The toughest!
Not to mention the defense not only still sucks, it's also one of the oldest in the NFL.
Then there's offensive line... Jesus! Nice job trading back up center Sean Mahan, Nice! Real nice.
If the Steelers win 10 games it will be a miracle of Immaculate Reception proportions.
They will be damn luck to win the division (9-7 is a gift), muchless make the playoffs, muchless win a playoff game.*
I love the Steelers, but I am pragmatic about them.

Pats .. 'til somebody proves otherwise
Colts ... again, 'til somebody proves otherwise.
Chargers... Bolts are good... even Norv can;t fuck them up right?
Steelers .. still better than the fuckstick Browns!
Jags ... What a wildcard team!
Browns .. at 9-7, maybe even 8-8 they make the playoffs because everybody else sucks!

NFC .. like it matters. Pats whip that ass!
    Dallas...
    Vikings...
Seahawks .. winner of the losers!
Who gives a fuck? ... first round loser!

    Giants
    Eagles

Super Bowls: Pats beat the hell out of whoever.

Anybody wanna bet the Steelers win 11 games this season? I'll take that action all day.

The Stillers get six games against the Bengals, Ravens and Browns. They'll go at least 5-1 there.

I say this as a Bengals fan. The AFC North is Steeler Country by default.

  5. I'll give you 5-1. It's the non-con. that is the killer. Four wins would be a - as I said before - a miracle.

    I agree.

I have a feeling the Steelers will edge out the Browns and maybe win a game in the playoffs, but unless you have homefield for a couple of rounds in the playoffs in the AFC, you will be an early out.

Oh, the Steelers have a couple of studs at linebacker. That position will be very young by week five.

Every top team seems to have a flaw that makes then very tough to call a Super Bowl contender.
Pats (still can't run or stop it)
    Chargers (coach chokes)
Indy (losing some key players or slowing down severely)
Cowboys (have not even won a playoff game in a decade or so)
Steelers (o-line, tough for Ben to play 3-4 great games in a row without him fucking you)
    Jags (zero home field advantage)
Giants (two huge losses on the d-line)
Eagles (maybe it is their year)

I don't know. I can see the Browns giving the Steelers all kinds of problems.

I'm finally start to see a lot of Colts disbelievers out there. I've had a feeling since Manning's injury that this was going to be a non-year for the team.
But why is everyone here so sold on them being a lock for the playoffs?
Seriously, educate me, because my feeling is that they are lacking big-time. Is the rest of the AFC just that week?

The Chicago Bears will establish a new benchmark for offensive ineptitude that will not be equaled in our lifetimes.

But they'll still be better than Green Bay.

I'm with Evil on my beloved Steelers. They've got some very exploitable flaws on the defense and the OL worries me.

But as long as they beat the Cowboys at Heinz in December, I'll be OK with a 9-win season.
