    Not even close.

    Teams have been playing specific music to introduce players since at least World War II, around the time that the Dodgers and Braves began using organists.

    A SABR listserv query I made in 2006 came back with the following results:

    I will say X's version of "Wild Thing" may be the best cover song ever. Just takes that tune to a whole new level.

    I say that at least two or three times every time I go to a Nats game. Usually happens when the other team is at bat.
