  1. If polygamy is not sanctioned for everyone, it can't be sanctioned for someone.
    That's equal protection.
    And a sneer is not an argument. Many five-year olds know this already.

    I'm going to regret getting into this, but .... by definition:

    Chapter 115 of title 28, United States Code, Sec. 7 says

    "In determining the meaning of any Act of Congress, or of any ruling, regulation, or interpretation of the various administrative bureaus and agencies of the United States, the word 'marriage' means only a legal union between one man and one woman as husband and wife, and the word 'spouse' refers only to a person of the opposite sex who is a husband or a wife."

    Your hero Bill Clinton knows of what I speak. Don't try to tell me his relationship with Hillary is anything more than a Civil Union.
