    Oxygen, a leading women's fitness magazine, is seeking an accomplished Fitness Editor, with a passion for a fit, healthy lifestyle to work in a fast-paced environment (we're not kidding).


    * 4+ years at a consumer-level magazine.
    * Demonstrated ability to write and edit engaging copy on deadline.
    * Proven experience working with freelance writers and photographers.

    Specific Knowledge:

    * Understanding of the human body and all aspects of resistance training/cardio/the skeletal muscle system and kinesiology.
    * Demonstrated ability to design a wide variety of programs for women consumers in the demographic and at all levels of fitness. Capable of generating effective exercise descriptions.
    * Be a strong idea generator with a talent for creative packaging.

    Skills and Abilities:

    * A certified personal trainer is a definite plus.
    * The deeper the Rolodex, the better your chances.
