Magazine busted for stealing content

It's interesting -- this story isn't all that hot a topic on our board (perhaps because recipes aren't quite as sexy as Jayson Blair-level transgressions), but the Internet has turned this thing into a bona fide meme in the last 24 hours or so. Judith's brazen attitude towards Monica and the transgression probably fueled this from a handful of shame-on-you posts to a /b/-level orgy of anger, sarcasm and general-purpose trolling. Cooks Source is well on its way to joining the Hitler video, Ceiling Cat, the O RLY owl and vuvuzelas as cyberflavors of the week.

btw: I suspect this might be a fake page.

Monica is the victim. Judith Griggs is the plagiarist.

Maybe Judith stole Monica's name and left her with Judith's!

I really don't think so. I think they tried to start another page and failed.

Even if not, people are getting really creative:

Sorry for the multiple posts on this one...I'm fascinated by this episode.

Here are the last few posts on the magazine's facebook page.

Cooks Source Mag: Numerous derogatory posts have been removed and members banned and reported. Those people here to cause trouble are wasting their time. Don't you think that jumping on a band wagon just makes you look lily-livered?

Cooks Source Mag: I don't know what some of you think you are going to achieve? We apologized, now go find a rabbit to catch or something
