    Glorious moment for a 10-year-old in L.A.

I covered that game while I working for the paper in Monday's hometown. The paper was a PM and the game ended before deadline. Rare opportunity for a huge story to be today's news today.

In talks with Cubs, per Sun Times:

(Looks like a bad edit there. For some reason, the World Series Game 6 story got pasted there, but the Maddon stuff is in there).

Theo will give him whatever he wants. Back up the truck. The Cubs can't afford to fuck this one up.

Sternberg is waiting for the MLB to run off the shitty Wilpons so he can buy the Mets and sell the Rays to someone that would move the team to Montreal.

They did draw like 48K for each game of that Mets-Blue Jays set and next year it'll be much of the same with the Reds-Blue Jays since everyone will flock to see Joey Votto.

So when will the Rays file a tampering charge?

And what prospect will the Cubs have to give them?

Maddon would give up the charm and aura of the Trop for that aging edifice in Chicago?
