    I wouldn't travel 3 miles to see the Seahawks play the Bucs this year, let alone 3,000.

    I know they have been saying the same about you in your sports dept. They feel that you have become too jaded and crotchety in your later years to be an objective observer of sports.

    Hard to feel bad for a guy whose travel schedule is, what, five times more arduous than it needs to be.

    He works, what, two and a half days a week for five months a year? Wow, that's brutal. I wouldn't be surprised if he needs more than a week to get over this.

    I like Madden. He's lost a step over the years, but I can't think of too many current color guys who analyze the game better than him. Troy Aikmen and Daryl Johnston do a good job. Ron Jaworski? Phil Simms? Not even close.
