    I heard somewhere that the DUI penalty in Nicaragua was death by firing squad. That might be just an urban legend though.

    This organization has a harrassing, gouging, telemarketing type of fundraising strategy that makes telemarketing as a profession look worse than it is.

    Penalties in most European countries and Australia for DUI are very, very strict, and effective. I can only speak for my friends in those places, but that sure as hell hasn't deterred their social drinking at all. It simply means everybody's got the taxi company on speed dial and sets aside a portion of the night's drinking money for transport.
