    Pitino spent a couple years running an NBA team in blissful ignorance it had instituted a salary cap. He's GOOD at not knowing stuff.

    This story has taken a seriously ugly turn. If the investigation reveals truth in the accusations, is this Penn State-level awful? Worse?

    It may be set a record for sleaziness in trying to gain a recruiting advantage (and stupidity in thinking this would not be found out). But it doesn't come close to Penn State.

    Well, in the eyes of some, this is much worse than Penn State because Penn State was never ever ever ever about sports.
