Well, let's split hairs, here. Megan DID say yes.

Could there be a slip 'tween the cup and thel lip? Of course.

    It's Mad Men.

I cannot wait. Simply the best show on the air right now, and on the VERY short list of best shows of all time. Proud of myself for actually having seen every episode within 24 hours of its original air -- including watching the pilot live.

The new season begins on March 25 but it'll be March 14 as far as JR is concerned. Yes, I am just that pumped.

So many potential replies. So little time.

I've watched several episodes on a hit-and-miss basis on reruns and I always find myself stopping to watch to conclusion when I come across it.

Please forgive the dumb question, but this is basically about the goings on at a 1960s advertising agency, correct? Or, am I missing a bigger picture.

Thanks for tolerance of my ignorance.

That's the background. The bigger picture is how women evolved in the office in a male-dominated world that saw them primarily as objects, and how a generation of businessmen have to keep up in a world that has practically done a 180 from how they have lived their lives previous.

Thanks, Baron. I will be sure to catch up with all the eps before the Season 5 premiere.

I am so hoping they land The Mouse this season.

We should have the moon, Mets and Namath this season, right?

EDIT: It looks like they left in late 1965, and it seems the most history they will cover in a season is two calanar years. So that gives us 1966 and 1967.

Jon Hamm on Kim Kardashian. Apparently there's been a feud.

    http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10793496

"We're at a place where the idea of being 'elite' is somehow considered a negative," he said in the new April issue of Elle UK magazine. "Whether it's Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated.

"Being a f**king idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you're rewarded significantly," he opined.

"And incuriousness has become cool. It's celebrated. It doesn't make sense to me." -- Hamm

I love him a little bit more.

I am really hoping they give us more on Peggy Olson's personal life. She's become my favorite female character on television.

Can we re-title in a week and make this a Mad Men Season 5 running thread?
