    Why would the Mariners take back Sexson, who they just cut? Anyway, if the Yankees are going to catch the Rays and/or the Red Sox, and they're really serious about it this year, I would trade Ian Kennedy to gamble on Bedard.

    He'd make Carl Pavano look durable, and popular.

    Is that the lowest batting average by a guy who the league in homers? didn't mcgwire hit like 170 one year with like 30 homers?

    McGwire hit .201 with 22 HRs in 1991 and .187 with 29 HRs in 97 games in 2001, his last year
