LSU coach Les Miles dismissed fourth-year junior QB Ryan Perrilloux from the team. Probation officers in Baton Rouge are on high alert.

OK, who had May 2 in the pool?

We all knew this was coming eventually.

    I did.
Granted, it was May 2, 2006.

What a jagoff. The guy's high school expoits had Texas columnists predicting him to be a four-time Heisman winner and the greatest thing since sliced bread. Instead, he turns into complete shit because he can't keep his act together.

Other than the SEC championship game, the best thing this assclown ever did was inspire the "Friday Night Lights" character VooDoo. Good riddance, and don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Ryan. I have a feeling someone in the East Baton Rouge Parish jail will be making it sore enough, very soon.

A bunch of Southland Conference coaches just reached for their cellphones.

This makes Auburn the SEC West favorite, which is usually when Tommy Tuberville does his worst coaching. [/crossed fingers]

I'd have said they were already the favorites. It's an even-numbered year, which means LSU's schedule is brutal. At Auburn, at Florida, Georgia at home, at South Carolina, at Arkansas. It's going to be tough to come through that without two losses, and if one is Auburn it's over.
Next year, the schedule flips back and all of LSU's tough games (except perhaps Georgia) are at home. They'll be the favorites in 2009.
LSU -- the Bret Saberhagen of the SEC.

Perrilloux is French for turd, right?

Oh, and they won the SEC championship game with their defense. Perrilloux, other than taking all the snaps, had very little to do with it.
