LPGA says all players must learn English

    I can think of a helluva lot more places than the freaking LPGA to get my red-white-and-blue dander up.

    Maybe the LPGA can put a quota on the number of foreign players on the tour, like the Canadian Football League does with American players.

    The CFL--along with European basketball and hockey, Japanese baseball, and soccer leagues.

    At the rate the LPGA is going, Don Cherry would make a GREAT commish.

    True. But better to admit the mistake - or at least change tactics - than to defend an ignorant and poorly thought-out policy.

    The LPGA should have known it could work this out without making a big production out of it, but it learned the hard way.
