It would be fun to watch for several reasons... I'd love to watch Bama go hire a big-name replacement and cause the coaching dominoes to tumble again, even though there would probably be a chance they'd just promote from within... If he comes back, it would be interesting to see what NFL job he would target. It's well-documented how badly the Cleveland ownership wants him, but maybe he would go somewhere where there is a better chance to win quickly.

The teams that would be willing to give Saban what he would require to come back to the NFL aren't likely those teams... I don't see Philly hiring him.

Given his age and record, I think you can feel pretty confident he's not getting a third chance.

Just a hunch but it seems likely that the NFL media would not be as compliant to Saban's wishes which would be fun to watch also.

Saban has it made at Alabama. Can't foresee him leaving.

But will get plenty of HC interviews so teams can meet the minority compliance requirements.

    That's Marion Campbell-esque.

He sure tried in Miami... He took almost everything away from the writers. No assistant access. I think he may have even changed how they had their media work area.

Chargers just made it official. Norv, Smith both gone. A year later than it should have happened.

Fuck the Belichick tree. Belichick is a part of the Parcells tree and that spreads over a vastly bigger part of football.

It is amazing that it took that long to get rid of either of them...

Shefter reporting Whisenhunt out in Arizona, too.
