Love me some Kelly Clarkson, but....

    Agreed on all points.

Except on Alba in that Paul Walker-Josh Brolin, bikini-heavy movie.

I was just glad I had a beer during the halftime show.

She looks fine. She just needs a wardrobe consultant with a pulse, and the balls to say, "No, hon. You're not wearing that."

Bubble dresses don't flatter a single woman who isn't underweight or slightly anorexic. It was a poor choice of outfit by Clarkson (esp. with that collar, yikes!). It does not mean she's fat. You'd probably think she was hotter than all get out with a great figure if you saw her walking down the street. It's only when she's compared with the generally underweight twigs in the entertainment industry that Clarkson is considered fat.

Let me clarify my original post:
I don't think Ms. Clarkson is fat by any stretch. I'm in the same boat as slap.

And there that is. Took a minute, but I knew we'd see it.

What's the matter, Clever? Did I interrupt the boy talk about how a girl who doesn't fit an impossible ideal is therefore fat? I'm so sorry.

No, your post was one of several archetypical ones I expected to see on this thread after BBAM's initial comment. Dooley's was one of them as well. Which is why I said "And they're off...." The above exchange was merely what I was expecting.
