    Sid Hartman is an overrated homer suckup who should have been put out to pasture 20 years ago. Most intelligent readers of the StarTrib know that he's wind bag.
    So ... I hate him.

    Since he has been writing for 65 years, he has to have been pretty good at his craft. However, as one who only began to read his columns in the past 5-10 years, I really find most of them to be mediocre at best.

    He is not a "must read" for me...

    I don't believe he owned land where the Dome stands, but it is no secret Sid has had real estate investments over the years.

    The owners of the Strib at the time the Dome was built were extremely active in land acquisition for the Dome as part of the task force designated to do so.
