"Loutallica" releases first song, fans of both artists are mystified

    It sounds like Lou is singing different songs than what Metallica is playing. It reminds me of Beefheart's Trout Mask Replica.

    Lou Reed could win Best Spoken Word Album Grammy for every album he releases, because the guy doesn't sing. At all. I do like 'Dirty Boulevard', though.

    I thought it was one of the best things he's written in awhile. (The others haven't been bad; this was just particularly great.) The line about how the Red Hot Chili Peppers covering the 12 worst Primus songs for Starbucks would being slightly better than this was awesome.
