Watched it after Dennis Leary and Jon Stewart raved about it - and while it was funny, and I understand why other comedians love him - the cancer jokes were a little tough to laugh at since I have a family friend going through it.
He doesn't take the easy way out. While other comedians dish out the slurpees - he dishes out the pure heroin.

I think it's good but not great.
    Some good bits.

Man, that last episode was a drag. I understand the attraction to cringe humor, but sometimes it just crosses the line into a very morose area. The whole liberal-conservative argument seemed all too real and very depressing.

I love him as a standup, but both of his shows are not on that level.

    Still watchable and funny.

    This thing won't last long.

And it might be the bravest, funniest thing on TV in years. There are as many cringes as laughs, but it's beautiful.

You cannot get Louis CK without there being seriously messed up man writing the jokes. People want the funny without the pain. Louis won't let you separate those things. It bothers people.
It's art. And it at best will last two seasons.

Putting all the black kids on the window seats while broken down in Harlem made me pee my pants.

The best thing about this show is it's made me dig up Louis C.K.'s HBO specials.

Louis C.K. Chewed Up was on Showtime last night.

Watched the first episode on Hulu because of the talk on here. There are major inconsistencies that a New Yorker will notice. But if you don't care about that, I guess it was mildly entertaining.

I downloaded Chewed Up last night. Has the new special aired yet?

No idea. Didn't know one was in the can. Chewed Up is from 2008, I think.

Loved that the girl that Louie had a playdate with was his wife from "Lucky Louie" a nice call back to those that loved that show too.
Also loved all the old jokes during sex.
