The next time K laughs will be the first.

Coach K's sense of humor is so miniscule, it's easily misplaced.

To be fair, he also went on to chastise George Bush for welcoming his 1991 national title team to the White House instead of focusing on the economy.

"He could have won in '92, but he wanted to exchange UNLV jokes with me instead of concentrating on the rising unemployment."

Maybe K should run for president. Until then, he should concentrate on coaching his team and STFU about his perception on how a president spends his time.

I really hope the recent trend holds of Coach K not having to bother coaching his team after this weekend. Maybe next weekend he can work on his own economic stimulus plans.

Gerald Henderson seems to do better going to his right, just like his coach. Krzyzewski endorsed GOP candidate Elizabeth Dole in the N.C. senate race, didn't he?

But he's absolutely right. Had Obama not spent that five-minute segment on ESPN unveiling his bracket, he would have solved all of the country's economic problems. :) Just wait until Jim Cramer (CNBC's answer to Dick Vitale) embraces the bracket-blame theory for why the economy isn't getting better.

And if some coaches hadn't spent so much time in the offseason in China, maybe they wouldn't have needed half the college season to figure out how to solve their point-guard problem. But, of course, he had to spend time in January complaining about not getting enough attention about being No. 1 rather than figuring out that Greg Paulus should be sitting on his bench. At least, by quickly losing and dropping from No. 1, he was able to quickly move on.
