Celebrity endorsement type of opportunity for someone with a household name in sports journalism. We're an e-mag start up with ++ talent looking to add a knock out punch at the top of our lineup. The product is so hot in it's industry, in two months we've gone from a blog to an e-zine concept in development to having one of our stories hit the front page of Fox Sports.

    knock out - verb
    knockout - adjective

    its - possessive
    it's - "it is"

I'll let the others slide but hope you land someone with editing skills. Good luck.

It also might be helpful to provide contact information, too.

Freelance. Since our celebrity endorsement jobs board is not quite up yet.

    This will not end well.

  6. This could be a good gig for someone just peaking in the industry.

Everyone in my household knows my name, is that good enough?

LOL - good stuff everyone. The project has received seed money and is in development or I would have posted the URL. We have a prototype online but the goal there is analytics at this time, although some of our work has been recognized nationally.

The reason I used the term 'celebrity endorsement' is because one nationally known writer in the industry suggested that phrase to me. That said, we have an EiC - we need name recogition. I hope that explains things better.

Feel free to ask questions, or send me an e-mail if interested.

What's the blog then? I assume you're not Lenny Dysktra looking to do another startup.

E-zines are doomed to fail, BTW. Unless you're looking to do mobile apps.

  11. I don't understand how you can have nationally recognized work yet not be able to tell us your web address.

Maybe it's for Bubba Gump shrimp. After all, they're a household name, too.
