Since we don't have a design thread anymore...
Anyone have any ideas on how to present a calendar that isn't a couple columns of agate with some headers?
Has to be a better way ... any thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

Break out the bigger events in larger type.
Then "elsewhere" for the other events that month.

Or do a separate graphic for the big events.

Otherwise, "Super Bowl XLII" and "Wimbledon" get the same display as "Skiing: Super G World Cup in Oslo"

Wired magazine does (or, at least, did) a calendar each month that does/did a nice job of adding some art elements and breaking out little bits and pieces.

I thought you meant a calendar calendar ...

Here's a video to the goddess of my lifetime. Some kind of calendar in the making, I guess.

But the Super G team works just as hard as the others.

i'd prefer one with fewer days in the week, fewer weeks in the month and fewer months in the year.
