If you're going to complain about usage, you should be mindful of your own.

Says the guy who spelled "bodyguard" as two words the other day. Derp.

    In a complaint about usage?

I will go edit that post. I'm not even sure where it was, but I'll find it. (I've found it.) All I ask is for accountability. Why do you think it's "the mark of a fanboi"? Or was "fanboi" the wrong word?

The fanboi type, then. Sports 24/7, mimics everything he hears on TV.

If it's the wrong word, it's the wrong word.

I see it too often in non-sports writing to buy into that theory. I think writers view perfect tenses as a way to sound fancy.

Good for Selena. If I find a passbook or information about a 7-figure windfall when my father dies, I and my brother will be off the grid.

Stop it, Ace. You have no right to decide what Selena and Drip are going to do with their money.

This tweet by Selena perked my curiosity a bit. If indeed accurate, that IS a bad look for Deadspin, though I'm not sure they care.

I'm used to taking hits and can deal with that but for Deadspin to exploit my dead mom and with info I told them was off, it's a new low.
