Is there a worse sports movie than the Freddy Prinze Jr.-Jessica Biel vehicle?
And what the heck even happened to Freddy Prinze Jr.'s career?

Who would have thought Matthew Lillard would be the one with the best resume/career outlook out of that crew.

Lillard chews so much scenery in everything he's in the guy should wear a bib.

beware buying the DVD. yes, it's burned off a vhs, I would have been fine with that, but mine had a SIX SECOND delay with the audio!!!! Couldn't get my $30 back, either.

I do remember seeing this, and loved it. Among other things, it's your chance to hear Teller (of Penn and Teller) actually speak dialogue.

The one line I always liked from that movie was when Dermot Mulroney's character sits down with Dixie in the diner and tells her how his girlfriend "got herself pregnant," and Dixie replies, "the last time that happened, there was a star in the east."

Hmmmmmm, my hometown library has it on VHS. Wonder if it is the six-second-delay version.
