London wants the Super Bowl

    And that depends on the time of year, cause of DST non observance.

    Britain springs forward later than the U.S., but it does spring forward.

    Any Super Bowl would be a five hour time difference to the East coast.

    Isn't London building a new stadium for the Olympics? I would think any serious bid for a Super Bowl would take that into account.

    I believe the 'New' Wembley is going to be the centerpiece for the London games.

    That's why they spent $1.57 billion on it.

    Few NFL stadiums these days have a capacity higher than 70,000 or so. The ones that do are mostly older. The new batch of stadiums sacrifices overall capacity to add money-making luxury boxes, which makes them so-so for watching games. The new stadiums tend to be more open (especially the domes), which drastically lowers the crowd noise and takes a lot of the atmosphere out of a game.

    And that's part of my point. If Wembley, at 90,000 capacity, isn't big enough, I don't see many stadiums in the U.S. that do fulfill Britwrit's desire for,
