London Olympic logo released.

Oh man is that awful. I just can't imagine how anyone thought this was a good idea.

 

It really makes you proud to be British

 

I think the "mascot" will be a pile of puke. I don't mean look like a pile of puke, but actually BE a pile of puke.

 

Nope, it'll be Vinny the Vindaloo Curry and a pint of Tiger.

And a pile of puke.

 

Why the hell don't they use the 2012 logo they've been using. It's pretty sharp.

 

They needed to create a different merchandising opportunity.

 

Apparently, they decided to go with one that wouldn't sell merchandise.

 

That is one hideous color. I'm going to have to adjust my TV set to take the shine off of that logo.

 

I'm pretty sure you have to change the original bid city logo after you earn the rights to host the event. The IOC might want to rethink that policy.

 

They could have added racing stripes... Yeah, and fins for air resistance.

 

Has there EVER been a decent Olympics or World Cup logo/mascot? At least in recent memory?
