    Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.

"Each edition of the Olympic Games brings its own flavor and touch to what is now well over a century of modern Olympic history," Rogge said. "The brand launched today by London 2012 is, I believe, an early indication of the dynamism, modernity and inclusiveness with which London 2012 will leave its Olympic mark."

    Damn, is that hideous.
Someone actually will collect a check for the design and royalties for later?

    They should get 5-10 instead.

I'd hate to see the runners-up. I remember when you could see a logo and know where the olympics were that year - this looks like crap. Judging by the logo, the next games will be held at a disco in Brazil circa 1971.

    Took me a while too.
Maybe someone who give a lot of ink blot tests managed to do this design.
