I hope I don't land this site on the FBI's radar by posting this, but I have a bad feeling about next Saturday. Second anniversary of the 7/7 bombings, plus there's all the hoopla about 7/7/7. Just a bad feeling, and I hope that's all it is.

I think that if we haven't been on the FBI's radar yet, the bad feeling isn;t going to do it... the file on my brother Bastard, Fenian, is the size of a classroom

I was shocked there wasn't a thread about this earlier, even this morning.

I'm not shocked. With a new PM, it was all political theater. I wouldn't put it past anyone if this was set up.

IIRC, 7/7/05 happened the day after London was awarded the Summer Olympics. So whoever's trying to do this is reading the news.

I wondered at the time how much (if anything) the Olympic announcement had to do with the 7/7 bombings, but it seems like a coincidence. After all, London wasn't expected to get the Olympics (Paris was), so it would have been bizarre to plan an attack around something that wasn't likely to happen.
