Livonia, MI water main (48-inch) break along I-96

    I wonder if the divider between east and west will collapse.

    Reportedly, the main also ruptured in 2003.

    I just saw the pictures of the flooded interstate. Looks awfully brown.

    That would be a movie concept... kid transfers from out-of-state into a NY HS for 9th grade, and all of a sudden he is taught in history class that nothing that he had learned had occurred anywhere else actually happened.

    Declaration of Independence? No.

    Man walked on the moon? Hah!

    Vietnam War? Fuhgeddaboudit.

    Live about a driver/9-iron from the affected area. Looked interesting for sure. Still have water pressure at the abode, but we've been asked to voluntarily cut down on water use, so no watering the lawn this afternoon (even though it needs it badly). The eastbound portion of the freeway is still closed but the water has begun receding.

    About the only excitement we get here in suburbia.
