This is still going on. Rooms are being cleared one by one. Down to just a couple of rooms left. Sounds like they have a rough idea where the shooter is.

Sadly fascinating. I'm listening to learn how active shooter situations are handled, as we've been practicing this at work.

That said, if the shooter is listening to this live... Ugh.

Saying he is going to come out with his hands up.

 

Moving toward a hallway - police wondering if he has an IED on him.

 

One suspect detained right now.

 

Snipers were ready to take him out if there were any indication of an IED.

 

Getting ready to attend to remaining victims in other rooms, and to secure the building and crime scene.

 

Units instructed to NOT air any personal information.

 

Tactical units switching to another channel.

One tidbit: was announced a few moments ago to keep an eye on the suspect's pickup truck that had several gas cans with wires and tubes coming out of them.
