I figured out why I felt so crappy ... Sudoku withdrawal. Well what do you know? The T-P debuts the puzzle today! I feel much better.

 

I have to ask this, and I'm serious. Is ULL the prohibitive favorite, or did UNT and/or MTS get some coaches' poll love, too?

 

I have never in my life seen Middle refered to as "MTS." Is that something you can cure with hormone therapy?

 

Can you believe ULM is called the Warhawks now? I mean, I about fell out of my fucking chair when I heard that....

Interestingly, UNT had 7 of 22 players on the preseason all-conference team, more than anyone else. Guess not a lot of love for UNT's other 15 players since they were voted fourth.

 

Thanks. that's interesting, the annuals are digging UNT and Middle much more than the SBC's coaches.

 

Well, the Arkansas State Indians are holding the line, at least for now. . .

 

Never did find out why they're holding out. I'll ask Dr. Lee tomorrow whazzup with that. Steve Roberts (a really nice guy, BTW) did mention cost of changing mascots in casual conversation, but I was too busy chasing other interviews to follow up.

 

Warhawks WILL take some getting used to, that's for sure.
