Wow. I'd love to see that as an exhibit in court. Hopefully, the judge would be a hard-core baseball fan and laugh out loud.

I'm sorry I was away for a bit ... that feta cheeseburger is not agreeing with me at all. Players leave it on the field, I left mine in a garbage can that smelled faintly of rotted Brut after shave and a circa '77 Mountain Dew.

Oh Christ! Anyone know how the runs were scored?

Can you work in the Counting Crows "Omaha" into the blog? I've always loved that tune.

Wait... You're serious? Damn... hell, no. Law and Order is on, then golf... Me got no time for college baseball and runs

Just don't post the lyrics to "Back Home in Omaha" ... because, you know, ESPN2 just played it, and they are the rights-holder, after all ...

Dammit! I'm in a bind. If I ask a colleague to catch me up on my scoring, my goose is cooked. Stupid fucking fetaburger.

Let me catch my breath. Did anyone know that when you fly into Omaha you drive through a slice of Iowa before you get downtown? Crazy shit.

What if I quoted the last line of Charlie Daniels' Uneasy Rider? If I say I'm going to L.A. via Omaha am I in trouble?

Oh shit! Press box sweep! Gotta go down low for now ...
