Congrats to Scott for a safe landing.

As the father of three sons I can understand your joy.

However, I have one word of advice: teach him to skate, OK? :)

    CONGRATS!

Had no idea you are such an Ohio State football fan, though. I mean, he is named to honor John Cooper, Earl Bruce and former Buckeye DE Darrion Scott, right? :D

Actually, and Slappy and dixiehack are going to get a kick out of this, we decided on the name after the Florida-Florida State game when we saw Riley Cooper playing. We were having a tough time coming up with names, and I saw Cooper on his jersey. Jokingly, I said, "What about Cooper?" and she said she liked it.

Once Mrs. tbf started to push, Cooper started coming a little sooner than the nurses were prepared for, so they ran into the hallway and grabbed the first doctor they could find (not our normal physician, mind you), and the dude came in wearing a Florida (doctor's) cap.

After it was all over, we told him we were Bama fans, and then the story about naming him. We all had a good chuckle out of it.

Cooper Manning (Peyton and Eli's older brother) was set to play for Ole Miss before he was diagnosed with some spinal cord problem.
