I think Twinkies pull down Hostess' entry in this culinary competition in a big way. Those were, are and always will be horseshit.

    Agreed.

It's on the level the Dream Team vs. Angola in the 1992 Olympics.

Hostess Cupcakes. It's like God came in them and let us eat them.

I went with Hostess based largely off the strength of Zingers and the superiority of their donettes. I would've went with their pies as well, but since they came back from the dead, the crust seems different to me. Which is a shame. Those things were freaking amazing. I grew up on those -- ate too many damn cherry and blueberry pies. And the lemons were pretty damn good, too.

There's so much good with Little Debbies, too, though, and I could easily have gone that way, too. In a playoff series, this one would go into overtime in Game 7.

And Tastykakes suck ass. Tried them once, Butterscotch Krimpets IIRC. Dry as hell and damn near flavorless. If that's a regional delicacy, that's a sad statement on that region.

Cast my write-in vote for Tastykakes. Far better baked products. The Peanut Butter and Chocolate cakes (somebody help me with the exact name) rank among the finest achievements of humans on Earth.

As I equally love Swiss rolls and Twinkies, I simply cannot pick a side.

They are good, and I'm sure they have some crack in them. Sadly I haven't seen any since Hostess products returned to the shelves.

I'm going to punch you both in your faces.

Men have been killed for saying less than that.

WTF is Drake's? If a portion of the country has never even heard of it, it can't be a real entrant, right?

If that portion of the country comprises people who hate Seinfeld, it doesn't count anyway.
