Lions prove how tough they'll be by giving their logo some teeth

    Every time I see the new logo one movie scene comes to mind: The end of the musical dance scene "Men in Tights" in Mel Brook's Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

    I half-expect the Lions to end their pregame warmups this fall by gathering at the center of the field and loudly yelling "WE'RE BUTCH!" :D

    I actually don't mind the new logo, but as far as steps in turning around the franchise it should have been on about page 3,582 of 3,583. Not page 1.

    So let's see. They fired the GM. Fired the coach. Changed the logo. Oh yeah they are going from basement to penthouse in about another five decades.
