    The hopes pinned on him from day one were unrealistic. Mariucci, the would-be QB guru, threw his ass right into the fire with the full knowledge that he'd be learning the ropes with brutal horseshit surrounding talent. Harrington wasn't mature enough or polished enough as a player to be a rookie starting QB.

    Every quarterback is a product of a system. That's kind of the fucking idea when you're putting an offense together. You put the ball in the hands of your best player.
