    Sad, but not surprised. I thought she might give it a go, get the green light from the US Ski team because of past accomplishments and celebrity status and finish 33rd in the downhill or something almost embarrassing.

    I remember when the Olympics were a once in a lifetime shot - you had a window and if you didn't hit that window you were pretty much done.
