The New York shmoozing, that's what. I hope the Knicks don't win a title until 2030.

What is it exactly you think you mean by "shmoozing?'

Don't insult Lin with the Tebow comparison. Lin's got a little game. He doesn't defend, but you don't have to be a great defender in that system.

I do think the Nash comparisons might be apt, considering the system he's running. He needs to give the ball up a little more often to truly be Nash. But, he's a little more crafty and explosive so he'll finish at the rim more than Nash. He's a little jet flying through the lane.

He can't keep up this pace. Nobody can really, outside of Kobe and Lebron and a few others. But he can play. It's not a complete accident by any stretc.

And in the same vein, don't insult Tebow by intimating he has no game. The man is more football player than quarterback, but he is every bit a football player.

I think it's a great story. I don't know if he's the next Stockton or not. But it is very fun to watch him play.

Oh, and Jason Whitlock is a piece of shit whose idea of a date night is eating a slab of bacon while watching porn.

A guy who was undrafted out of college and has started four games should be insulted by comparisons to a two time national championship QB, who won the Heisman Trophy, and led a team who was going nowhere to the playoffs?

Maybe someone should tell him this:

The difference is, Lin can play the position he's asked to play quite well.

Tebow can in very brief spurts surrounded by A LOT of epic awful. In this 4-game stretch, Lin has NEVER been bad, much less epic awful.

The nice thing about Lin -- similar to Tebow -- is he's been extremely humble through this. He's deflected praise, and instead given it to his teammates and coach.

An article in the Post mentioned that a dunk was the only thing missing from last night's game.

Looks like he could have had an uncontested dunk in this picture, but chose a layup instead. Unselfish.

That's a severe underestimation of what Tebow has accomplished, Brian, for the very reasons YF gave.

You really can't compare their games but what you can compare is the excitement and energy they both brought to their respective dormant teams.

Lin's scoring is almost a bonus. The real store is how he had made The Knicks a team instead of 4 guys standing around watching Carmelo launch 'em up.
