Anyone watching this series? It's sucked me in a little bit.

I haven't seen it, but I believe it's the History Channel, Kevin.

That show was absolutely fascinating. I was completely sucked in. There's stuff on there that you would never think about. I'm just glad it appears my cats would be good to go as long as they could get outside.

I remember there being a two-hour special a while back, 2007 maybe. I wasn't crazy about the premise, as if humans just suddenly vanished. I think if you're going to do something like this you would need to account for some major catastrophe, be it nuclear, pandemic, an asteroid, whatever.

    I think it's a fantastic idea.

Seriously, I've had "last person on Earth" fantasies since I was a kid.

I caught a glimpse of it tonight, but didn't want to invest in a mid-season show — especially without know WHY there aren't people in this period. Guess I'll check it out on DVD.

Well, this should certainly lighten the national mood.

Is it just me, or has the History Channel gone overboard with all the end-is-near programming?

They're kind of making it their niche, though it's less troubling than TLC becoming the Freak Show Channel.
