When a big issue comes up, I step in to bring us to consensus. Thus we know that the plural of clitoris is clitorii (bite it Zeke) and that "smile" is one syllable. Now another grave matter is in our midst. What say you?

I voted "Matters not at all" because I don't drink beer or any other sort alcohol.

    Ice cold

    Keg, bottle, can.

In that order, but cold trumps them all.

Smile is not one syllable you grammar snob.

And I prefer my beer in cans, yet hold no grunge against those misguided souls who don't.

Draft. Really, ought to be the end of thread – but, of course, it wont be.

you are correct, HH--in regard to the it won't be the end of the thread part.

    Bottle. Bottle. Bottle. Bottle.

With only one exception: Guinness on draught.

For "real" beer: drawn the European way, in slow stages.

For "Yeah, sure, I'll have a" beer: bottles

I suppose it depends on the occasion, but ideally, draft.

If you just want to grab a beer quick, then bottle.

Cans for tailgating and drinking games (i.e. beirut) and such.

Nothing - except the word "oil" - is one syllable in the South.

    All depends on the setting.

If I'm at a bar, draught. If I'm sitting at home, bottle. If I'm at the lake or in the woods, a can.
