I graduated from high school in 1977. We were preppies, though, and wore corduroys/khakis and penny loafers.

You have to understand, most people were very heavily drugged at the time.

 

As the 8-year-old son of a preacher in 1977, I don't remember too many big money clothing items such as the ones Rick(y) Schroeder modeled. However, I do recall a long-sleeved white shirt with snaps, a pointed collar and (drum roll, please) an embroidered rose on each side of the front, just below the shoulder. I was cowboy pimpin'.
