Yes - for two reasons.

#1 - Playing an instrument tends to make you a better musician generally.

When I was in chorus in high school, the best vocalists played instruments. I was not one of those folks! My best friend played piano really well and tended to miss notes NEVER. She got a lot of solos.

Secondly, and more importantly - Playing guitar adds to sex appeal. Mucho. Mucho.

 

I just threw something sharp and I DO know why.

 

Why? You don't find it sexy?

 

Guitars are the least sexy thing in the world to me. Guitar music makes me want to ram sharp objects through my head.

If there are guitars in it, and it's not performed by Foo or TMBG, I don't know it and I don't listen to it.

 

I prefer the piano myself...

But if you didn't find that ZZ Top/Cook performance hot...

You might need to hand in your girl card.
