    Speaking of actual American Idol stuff, the finalists were asked on Larry King how much money they get from their Itunes sales. The answer: Nada. Not a penny. Since they're not members of AFTRA. Does anybody know exactly how much of a cash cow this show has become? What a ripoff. Sure, they could always get someone else who "fits the suit", but you'd think the producers would have some shame.

    Dan, you actually have that backwards. Carly Smithson specifically said that after a certain number of shows, they become members of AFTRA and they do get residuals from the iTunes sales. Probably not a lot, in the grand scheme, but the kids ain't poor.
