So you are going to travel with the team? You are not the SID, right?

I am not the SID and I'm not going to travel full-time. That was one of the attractions. I'm an old man. I've done my share of traveling and then some.

Not trying to one-up you or anything, but as I was reading the thread, it dawned on me that not only did I cover Len Bias' last game, I also covered Hank Gathers' last game.
Damn, I wish it wasn't the case.

Sounds like a great deal then.

Especially since a lot of the CAA travel, I'm guessing, is done on a bus.

Most of it. VCU is chartering to the non-bus games, which is a sweet deal. VCU does it right, something I said before I went to work there.
I'll go to some of the drive games, just to see how the operation is running. VCU at George Mason on Tuesday, if anyone wants to see a good game.

Does Mason have a PG this year? Because Maynor just ate the cookies of the kids they had last year. [/solookingforwardtotheCAAtourneythisyear]

The back way. Grew up five minutes from Mason. That's one route I know.
    Otherwise, your point is valid.

Maynor will eat the lunch of a lot of people in that league. He's rather good. Thinking of a slogan as we speak.
