Leitch on Darren Rovell

Sweet! Or something.

 

Holy ... just, holy. I guess Sherman is doing his own Web thing now and not beholden to the Trib, which makes it slightly less jarring.

In our defense, though, we are some smart fuckers.

 

Ed Sherman is a great newspaper name, or TV/movie character.

Always get a kick out the Nat Sherman cigar commercials when I'm in NYC.

 

With the exception of the alleged incident involving Rovell's snit because he couldn't find anyone to take his picture with a Playmate (and do we know that really happened?), I didn't really find anything in Leitch's article to make me dislike Rovell.

 

Hell, my comment was half-sarcastic. Lugnuts > Ed Sherman. Quote that, son!

 

I agree with a lot that has been said here.

But I'll add this: I learn things from following Rovell on Twitter. I appreciate that I can learn things simply by reading his tweets, not having to click through hundreds of links he passes along. He breaks the relevant info down to 140 characters, which makes him worthwhile in that medium.
