Leigh Montville is one of the finest columnists of my lifetime. But he is wrong here.

No day in court. I think he's guilty of what he did. So do all of us. But no day in court.

You don't take this action unless he's convicted.

The Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is bound by court findings?

You must really miss the Paterno statue at PSU, huh?

If I thought you even had an intellectual reason for that, I'd engage.

But trolling's become more important than reasoning for you.

Which is cool. That makes three.

And you've had a pompous stick up your ass for quite a while. There's your tradeoff.

Conlin's not in the Hall of Fame. So where did he give that acceptance speech? In the parking lot of a Rodeway Inn in Poughkeepsie?

Still waiting for the 1968 Heisman Trophy to be rescinded.

The Downtown Athletic Club removed OJ's portrait from the Heisman Trophy Room in 1994. That's the equivalent of what people are asking for here.

You can debate it a number of ways but there is just something not right about
a pedophile being honored in anyway as part of HOF.

What's the downside of just pulling the honor? Who's actually going to
    complain?

This thread became remarkably stupid and semantic considering we're pretty much in unanimous agreement Conlin resides in one of the lower circles of hell.

How could God banish him to hell without a conviction in a court of law?
